Hello everyone. I have a chance to pick up these rear control arms for my malibu. Brand new never installed and comes with the hardware. Are they any good? And how much are they worth? Any feed back is appreciated. Thx Mike.

The first set i bought for the Monte was that same set and later I upgraded the uppers to adjustable so I could set my pinion angle.
For my Regal I bought the UMI with adjustable uppers and the Roto-joint just in case.

They are good in a straight line or in a parking lot autocross, but the uppers won't allow much movement before they go into a bind so high speed handling on a rough road could get sketchy with a big rear sway bar.. like a pothole or broken pavement on a decreasing radius on ramp taken at maximum effort.

The G's generated will be impressive until the back end comes around.

Smooth road, smaller rear sway bar, sensible driving, they'll be fine. As 565bbc said, adjustable rotojoint uppers are a more "New School" version that reduce some of issues one can run into.

Thx guys for all your input. I bought them. $370 for everything so i think it was worth it. Im thinking of taking your advise and getting another set of adjustable uppers with the rotojoints to avoid any problems. Not like the ones i bought will go to waste, i have 2 other g bodies!

That's a good deal for new, never installed Hotchkis stuff! I have the control arm mount braces on my Cutlass, but BMR upper and lower arms with poly bushings.

I bought mine years ago before learning about the bind that poly puts on the suspension, and will likely upgrade to roto joints to avoid any "surprises" when the new powertrain comes alive.
