A 1984 Hurst/olds very solid, original 307 H/O is currently not running but was drivin to its resting place 2-3 years ago. Been inside a garage, interior is faded from sun through the T-tops. Missing original wheels, paint is oxidized pretty good I think from the pictures. Going to look at one this morning but I don't want to over pay.

I went to look a an 84' H/O last week the guy was asking 4K. Paint is faded, 307 was pulled and a hacked 455 put in its place. The car was all there but very rusty and faded and the previous owner removed the entire HVAC unit. That car is worth $2000 in parts and not worth a restoration. If your car is rust free and complete, I would pay 4K or more.
I agree, if the 8.5" rear, lightning rods, badging and body moldings are all there. They seem to go for more in garbage shape than the 85-87 442's in fair-good shape.
The car is very straight. Wrinkle in passenger front 1/4 probly easier to replace than fix. 3-4 pea size holes under the ttops original paint that looks like it was sanded but no body rust and a tiny but inside the doors. Frame looks good, lightning rods are there and good, some minor interior things power window button and trim on passenger door and power mirror button are missing one door pull is messed up, ttop trim inside is cracked, the badging outside is missing. The seats, floor, dash look brand new, vin checks out has correct door and trunk stickers. Asking 2,800
