Whats it worth

Hello everyone. I was wondering what a 8.5 complete rear non posi with 3:73 gears is worth. Its out if a 85 cutlass. Its been a while since i even looked. I payed $600 for my grand national rear with 3:73 and a eaton posi, but that was many years ago. Any input is appreciated. Thanks .

In NE GA area they have really went up , i have seen them going for 600 to 1000 with complete brakes on them

Selling or buying?? Demand is high and supply is low and prices go crazy - Paul is correct on his prices but there is no way I'm paying that kind of money for a 30+ year old rear end.

I sold a non posi 8.5 for $700 a year ago. based on the volume of response to my Craig's list ad, I probably could have gotten $900-1000 if I would have priced it higher and been willing to wait for the right buyer to come along.

So I would say current market value is $700-$1000 for non posi and $1000-$1300 for posi - assuming complete, functional stock unit.
