It sure looks like he did a perfect job.
Btw, did you upgrade the front brakes? Stock G-body brakes aren't even very good at stopping just the car. I can't imagine them being adequate pulling that trailer. Did you put bags in the springs on the rear?
I guess you've had that car a long time. Seems to me it's one that should be kept for your lifetime. Pretty much the way I feel about my El Camino after owning it for 25 years now.
Stock brakes will stop quite a bit of weight or from high speed. What they won't do is stop repeatedly under those circumstances. Oh, the pads don't last very long if you use them under those conditions either, ask me how I know.

My biggest complaint with my stock brakes was in a panic stop. Once I went to new larger wheels with a performance tire, the front brakes wouldn't lock up no matter how hard I stomped the pedal. And, that was on the first try with the brakes still cool. Plus, the pedal always had a mushy feel to it in anything more than a normal easy type stop. I tried a several different pads, a couple of different stock type calipers, 3 sets of rotors, a few different master cylinders and couldn't make them feel any better. I finally gave up with stock front brakes and went with '98 to '02 Camaro LS1 brakes. it's great now.
