I'm feeling forced to sell my Cutlass lately, as I'm renovating my house and have a baby on the way. I don't need to sell it tomorrow, so I'd like to get opinions as to what it's worth so I don't sell myself short, or have to sit on it too long. Just to have an idea what the market is like around here, clean stock Cutlass' fall in the $5-8000 range. Not that this is comparing apples to apples.....

It's an 85 Cutlass Supreme
030 over 350 4 bolt
Flat top pistons
Vortec heads with 2.02 and 1.6 valves, spring seats cut for higher lift
Comp 981 Springs
Comp 280H Magnum Cam
Scorpion full roller rockers
Rpm air gap intake
Built/modified Quadrajet
Hooker full length headers
High volume oil pump
Engine has maybe 2000km's since built
Built TH350, TCI 3000 stall
7.5 Rear with eaton limited slip and 3.73's
Heater deleted.

Car is in pretty good shape. I'm going to say minimal rust, I only know of one spot about the size of a quarter that is starting to bubble, and some rust starting to show through at the bottom of the doors on the inside. The doors have some golf ball size dings in them, once again not super noticeable. There is a hole in the floor where my shifter used to be when I had the muncie in it. I'd probably patch that before I even listed it for sale. The paint is discolored in spots. It started with puddles on the roof, but every year it seems I find another spot where it is discoloring... Almost looks like metallic pooling that went un noticed until UV rays made them look pinkish. You have to get pretty close to see it, but whoever buys it will definitely notice eventually. The biggest issue with this car is the hole I cut in the hood for the shaker. It's just not good. I cut it a little too big, and the paint is peeling away from it pretty bad.

Nice ones go for $2500 here. Heck a guy had trouble getting 5 grand for a 87 442. Go high and drop your price till it sells.
