I just bought new lug nuts for the Corvette rims that I'm putting on my Malibu. The nuts are chrome plated. I got the old wheel nuts with the rims, but the chrome plating is all chipped and cracked, that's why I got new ones. I remember reading somewhere that you can get a special socket for chrome wheel nuts that has a hard plastic lining in it, that won't damage the nuts. I have 2 Snap-On catalogs here, and I've been through both of them, and I can't find a listing for anything like that. Does anyone here know about this type of lug nut socket, and where to find them?
