Wheel Opinions

Look at swapping my wheels over to a set of 69' Chevy rallys I have complete with derby caps and beauty rings. The caps are rough, but original metal along with the beauty rings. Looking for opinions on which wheels look better: my current camaro ones or picture the rallys on there. The other things I want opinions on is whether to go with or without beauty rings and whether to go with smooth police style caps or derby caps. Also what color do you think would work on the rallys?

So Pat I've never been a big fan of those camaro wheels but they look good on your car (because they were painted to go) but I've really been partial to rally's on malibu's... put the front 1 on also then just walk around the car you'll know what you like 8)

Thats a toss up cause they both add to the appearance of the car. Im old school, so I favor the rallys, but those Iroc wheels look really good too. Ive always been a big fan of rallys though...so I guess Im no help...lol :lol:

what size wheel/tire is on the back vs the front in that picture? are you on a down slope in the driveway?

It's sittin nice right there. But the wheels don't match. personally I'd keep it like that till I could get 4 wheels of the same style

x 2 - the Irocs look really good, but I'm kinda leaning to the 69 rallys...they just give your car an old-school classic cool look that the Irocs can't do...

The old school chrome rallies hands down. I only like Irocs in 20"-24" sizes.
*The rallies look good painted too.

WHAT a difference! The rallies completely change the look of the car, for the better. Well I personally never liked the camaro/iroc type of wheels much. Regardless, go a little back in time before you ever became a g-body enthusiast. Then look at the two pictures side by side with no bias.... Rallies make the car look badass. Even rallies wth the cop caps would look awesome. And the red paint on the insides is a great idea too.
DeltaT has a bu with similar wheels with cop caps. Not sure if they're rallies? Might be something to consider but it looks pretty sick as well: viewtopic.php?t=22654
