whenever it rains/snows the floor of the car is wet...

the seals around the door/window look shot ? I assume its coming from there.. what is the proper term for those seals so i can order them also is one brand better than the next? want to solve this problem before i put the interior in

car isnt a t-top has dealer installed sunroof doesnt appear to be coming from there as there are no water stains in that area.

What part of carpet gets wet?

The weatherstrips at the top of the side windows are called roof rail weatherstrips. A lot of guys on here have said they like Metro. We are getting Soffseal for my brother's 78 Camaro. You might call and talk to Mike at Mike's Montes and see what he sells and what he likes. He is a sponsor on here and by many accounts is a good knowledgeable guy. I have bought a few things from his site and they were good experiences. I will probably go with Soffseal when I replace mine. I researched it pretty hard on my brother's Camaro and its all good reviews. Here is a link to the Soffseal roof rail weatherstrips for your car at Jegs. Only one review but 5 stars and he says they fit perfect.

If the passenger front floor is wet it may be coming from your heater box or heater A/C box

Look on the bottom of the box under the hood make sure this door is operable and clean out any leaves or debris that is inside it.

Place a cardboard floormat sized piece in the passenger front footwell as far forward under the glovebox. Either wait for rain or spray #1 - the door window for a few minutes while watching the interior #2 - spray the windshield top and side moldings and check for water, again wait 10 minutes, #3 spray into the windshield cowl air intake area and again monitor for leaks

You are going to need to pull up the pass side carpet under the glovebox to allow drying

Couple of things to inspect: the drain below the heater intake(rubber flap),
: cracking of the cowl area sealer compound
: cracking or deterioration of the heater box foam seals
: condition of the seal around the windshield

and
check and clean the cowl drain driver's side just above wiper motor
