guys, frame going out to blast/powdercoat, back next week. In meantime for eventually getting body on frame, need to buy following: energy suspension bushings, body mount bolts, new fuel tank... Mike's Monte's good for this and to keep a simple 1 stop purchase? Also, having a hard time locating locally the s10 brake caliper setup in bone yards, anyone here selling them? Thanks- will post pics next week

I got my urethane bushings from prothane via summit, then got all my class 10.9 hardware from fastenal when i worked there....employee price made them dirt cheap. Even without the discount the bolts weren't very costly.

I got energy suspension front upper and lower arm bushings for like 40 bucks after searching for a while on ebay. Also got moog ball joints for dirt cheap maybe 3 bucks shipped. But I had to hunt them down

When you get your new fuel tank, clean it and paint it with something to protect the metal. My new one sprung a leak after 2 years and it was not winter driven.

What do you mean? Like a rock guard paint for the outside of the tank? What would you recommend

i cleaned the outside of mine with a heavy duty engine de greaser and some wire brushes then i sent it off to get cleaned at a local rad shop then i sprayed mine with truck bed coating about 3-4 coats i will post a picture when i find it

I would paint the outside of the tank with etching primer and then rock guard or anything that will prevent it from rusting. Make sure you get into the corners where the two halves are put together. The lip on the tank lets stuff sit there to rot it
