I just hate having to use that ugly plastic panel when I'm installing a new stereo. Where can I find a stereo that fits the entire hole in the dash? Does anyone know what brand makes them?

If you can find the other type of plastic piece (not the wide opening but the small rectangle with two holes for the knobs) you can just take some measurments of the new head unit and use a small rotary tool and cut out that section. Thats what I did for mine and it looks great. theres a picture in my photo album somewhere. Then you are not limited by the size of the head unit.

You can buy a 1.5 din head unit. Although the only good ones are from Pioneer I believe.
