I recently picked up an 85 regal with the carb'd 231 motor for $650. Talk about getting what you pay for. The motor and trans are solid as can be, but I must say this car is a wiring nightmare.

I have no headlights low or high beams to parking/running lights or interior lights. I DO have brake lights all turn signals hazards and idiot lights. I pulled out the interior dimmer light switch and the parking/headlights switch to see it there was any corossion. I opened up both switches for a closer look and there was orange/yellowish wax inside. I cleaned it out as best i could and made sure the switch was getting contact. Anyone know what that might have been? My first thoughts were diaelectric grease but idk. I flipped the switch and no lights. Where do i go from here? And does anyone know the torx bit size to remove the headlight bezels? I'd like to check that and go from there, I'd also like to check grounds too. Anyone experience this problem? Does anyone have wiring diagrams? This thing is a wiring nightmare.

Any help is much appreciated.

It sounds like your on the right path checking for corrosion, loose grounds, fuses and the like.Get your self a haynes or chilton manual. That yellowish waxy stuff is old oxidized di-electric grease when you pull out the headlights you will find greenish waxy stuff  PM a e-mail and I'll send you a couple of scanned wiring diagrams

Go to Autozone.com and check for the wiring diagram.

I've tried that. It says there are no diagrams or repair guides. :|

I went in there this morning to see if they could bring anything up and no luck. I'll have to try schucks or K'nechts.

if you have a recycling yard close you might want to see if you can get a wiring harness for your lights that's in good shape. It connect to the back of the fuse box just below the wiper motor. There is a 1/4" bolt in the center of the harness that needs to be removed and the lite harness is on the left side of the harness. The right side is for the engine components and starter etc....it's basically plug and play as it's pretty obvious what goes where. Then you won't have to try to track down the problem you are having.
