the LT1 maybe a chevy design, technically this LT1 came out of my 1995 Trans Am Formula...but if you think about it they're all GM *shrug*

but I think Im going to keep my original hood and scoop thanks for the input everyone
 
I am actually in the process of doing a full resto on my 84 H/O. I have decided to build the car that GM couldn't build in 1984. I think that if you are upgrading the powertrain then update the hood as well. You can always put the original hood back on the car. Just don't sell it or lose it.
And I agree about the Chevy engine...makes me sad. I will be using a Dick Miller Racing 496 Olds engine...keeping it Olds Power!
