which one to buy?

I just repaired my frame rails on an 82...... I found a good donor at a junkyard and cut more than I needed. Paid roughly 30 us dollars for the frames rails at the seam on the frames in the middle of the wheel well back with bumper shocks. I kept on side of the old frame for size and total shape and then welded the new one in after it was trimmed up. I went further and welded plates over it for added security. I didnt pay my buddy to weld or fabricate, but welding gas, wire and metal for the plates may have cost me 75 us dollars. Looks almost factory and strong... I couldnt find a frame any where local for under 500 dollars...

As for which one to buy, I am torn..... I love both and would buy both if I could!

well i ended up getting the 79 cutlass. the car is very solid and the frame is just starting to crack so its still fixable without replacing it. ill try to get some pics.

thanks for the help

sweet! what are the plans?

hey dude
check out my cheap 500$ car and i just buffed out the paint and striped the bottom. check out my pics

the plans are to brace the frame. fix the small crack thats in the frame already. Change the interior, drop it 2" and paint it flat black, thats all for now then i can save up to get a crate zz383 engine to drop in there.

Sounds like fun little project. Like the flat black idea, tough looking on most any car. How about wheels? Keeping the olds rallies?

Those other wheels are cool looking, make you stand out a little. I don't know if you'd like that or not  . Tough choice. are the rallies 14 or 15"?

both the rally's and the alloys are 14". id love the car to stand out. it also came with a h/o spoiler and factory tint and factory dual exhuast. gonna put some hid's on it for night driving. nice sound system and an air scoop. should look pretty badass.
