If someone who has done it wants to write a good, well written comprehensive article on a Buick V6 to Olds swap, what parts are needed, common mistakes, etc. I will make it a sticky. The same also goes for the Buick V8, Cadillac V8, LSX, LT1, Pontiac V8, or anything else not mentioned here that is within the realm of average technical know how (No Caterpillar diesels or Boss 429's please!). I think it would help a lot of people who want something other than the SBC in their G body. I would write one myself, but I have no practical experience with anything but the SBC in these cars, and it would be better to get someone with experience to write it instead. I may also move all the swap stickies to the How To's forum instead. Likewise, anyone wishing to write a T-5 manual swap sticky, preferably with pics is welcome to do so in the drivetrain forum.
