Missed qualifying on Saturday but watched finals Sunday night. It was awesome. The numbers were awesome due to cool track temps but that's what it's all about. Gonna be a great season. We are hoping to get to Indy again this year for the 60th Anniversary. We went last year and it kicked *ss!!!

Yep, ET's were real good and John Force is already starting out strong haha. I'm hoping do go to the 4 wide nats. again in Charlotte this year. 2 Nitro cars is wild, but 4 is nuts.

i'm ready, saw they kicked off the winter nats and testing really well. Alexis I heard did a 3.99 ET. Also the whole thing with castrol / ford with JFR has sorta blown over as PEAK is now the sponsor. Not sure when they will start using the new sponsor's colors. I want to go to Z-Max to see them do the 4 wide when they 1st visit there, later in the season they typically use only 2 lanes. John's team has been doing great ever since the word got out that Castrol and Ford are ditching the sport. Last summer at Englishtown NJ they did not run so great due to the heat causing many smoking tires within the 1/8th mile ( too aggressive on clutch applications). I ventured up to maple grove in reading PA last October. Qualifying was perfect, they did have issues with the Christmas tree and disregarded one of the best side by side run's i've seen in a while. John and Courtney were matched for qualifying. john pulled at 3.97 @ 323mph while Courtney did a very low 4 @ 329mph. Man did they haul. I'm itching for more nitro this season!

looks like Ashley force made some test runs the other day, did well ran low 4's. not bad for being out of the drivers seat for a few years.
