Yes, the shifters are all very similar, but will have specific throws for specific transmissions. Best bet would be to look at a shifter that would fit, say, a late 60's/ early 70's Chevelle or Camaro w/Muncie. That way you know the shifter, mount, and rods will all work together. Then all that is left is to decide on what stick (I called it arm) to use. Be sure to get a shifter with a bolt-on stick, because with the quick release type like what's found on second gen "F" bodies you are stuck with that one type stick. Probably the best way to decide is to have the trans and shifter in the car, sit in your seat, and see where your hand feels most comfortable. You then can make an educated guess as to which stick would work best for your situation.
