I don't think enough people bought the 2008 calendar. It was probably a money loser so they didn't do it.

I just did and left a comment.

Pretty much right on (they being me). Aside from a couple extras, the only ones I sold were at a steep discount to the contributors, and (as much as I appreciated it, thx guys) it was a big mess trying to handle the shipping etc. myself on those and I underestimated it bigtime.

Plus the last two years it was actually difficult trying to get enough + a good mix of cars! Right at the last minute I had a deluge and had to leave some out. I couldn't justify it for this year. The ones from cafepress are of really good quality, but they are expensive, and I think the price tag turned a lot of people off.

I was hoping the GBOTM stuff would pan out so I could just use those cars for '10 😉 Maybe still if it gets going again.

If there's a huge demand I'll see what I can do for next year! Maybe find a cheaper source that doesn't require a huge minimum order?

The unfortunate thing is that this forum does not have a huge number of members, so it is difficult to get this sort of thing going. I think when I joined there were maybe 1500 members. Although it has grown since then, how many people really post here often? So the percentage who would actually buy it ,being small, is drawing from too small a group.

It is growing, but it will probably never be huge like, say, Club Si (The largest Honda forum) is simply because there is a limited fan base for these 1980's sedans, wagons and trucks. They are not making any more, and a few hundred meet their death every day. These are cars you have to work on to make cool, and sadly this hobby is not growing like it once was.

we just gotta make em popular again!, everyone forgets about the g-body!
