I'm running 305 30 20s, on an 11" rim. Got about 1/4" of room on the inside, and shaved my inner wheel lip a little. You can't go any wider unless you have them hanging out the sides. These tires are 10.8" tread width, section width (overall width) 12", 27.2" tall and hook pretty good for a non-drag radial street tire.

I have a stock axle and tire and wheel size is a huge decision. I took a pic and recorded the tire size, rim size and ride height of every g-body I could and made my decision. Monday morning q-back I would go with 70 series rather then 60 series on front as I get some scrub.
