BTW M&H and Nitto drag radials were great on the street even when you hit minor rain when the tires were newer and fair for wear. BFGs & M&Ts DRs not so much.
I second the Nitto's. I drove on them from August until December last year. We didn't get any snow until January, but the Nittos work very very well in the rain.
I liked the M&Hs for grip a little better than the Nittos. Both wore well for a drag radial and both did ok in the rain when newer. Its somewhat hard to say though as I run the Nittos on the turbo car and ran the M&Hs behind the big block. Have had friends who have had both BFG & M&Ts that really sucked if you hit any water. They seemed to do no better than regular slicks in the rain we literally had to ease to an overpass and wait until it not only stopped but let any water that was on the road run off.
ok cool. good to know. i was leaning more towards the M&H because they have more of a classic look than the nittos. The nittos look like they belong on a sports car lol.

Honestly I wasn't happy the first time I took it to the track with the Nittos. However I found out after watching some videos that I wasn't doing nearly enough burnout for them to heat up properly. I did however gain like 2 tenths just switching back to the Nittos vs the MT slicks.
Treadwear is decent. I just built the car so of course I beat the crap out of it at any given point in the day, so I can't really comment on it much.
