will 78,79 camino fenders work with 83 header panel?

Hey guys im not sure if they will work but wanted to know if any one knows will 78 -81 fenders work on 83 header i think the 83 fenders are more straight were as a 79 fender for example , would be more curved. i dunt wanna modify the header..... i have a 83 that needs fenders i kinda wanna do it with out the side marker light but 83 fenders are harder to find so far, so wondering if 79 fenders would fit, thanks for any advice

A friend of mine says they are all the same - just looking I think he is right. The header panels are very different, but the mounting locations look the same.

The earlier fenders will work with the '83 header panel. The only difference is the side marker lights. However, since they're going on an '83 car, the radiator support would not have to be modified for the quad headlights as they would using an '82 up header panel on an earlier ('78-'81) car.

Yes Dan, it's a direct bolt on. Just that your '83 side markers will be eliminated for a cleaner look.
