window sweeps/felts replacement

How do you replace the window felts on the door panels? The factory ones are stapled onto the panels. Any suggestions ? They are on a 87 Grand Prix .Also, has anyone found a good replacement plastic chrome bead that is on the bumper trim? Thanks

I drilled small holes and riveted them to the panel. Make sure you use small rivets.

wow, and to think i was just gonna get a staple gun and use the backing from an old stapler ta do it. well rivets sounds better. and getting new inner door panels does too.

i got mine from opgi but i've seen cheaper on dixiemontecarlo and even cheaper on ebay

i think i saw some on ebay 2weeks ago new from a manufacturer.

it was while i was searching for a floor pan for my cutlass, no results so i searched under grand prix & it was thru that search where i came across the chrome beading strips
