OK, I recently bought a 79 El Camino that had a new 350 put in it. When they installed the engine, they took out the windshield washer system. Aparently they also put a new hood on it. I have all the components of the system, but want to ensure that I place the nozzles in the correct spot the first time. Can anyone give me the exact location of the nozzles for a 79? Thanks. 🙂

If its anything like my cutlass, it should have them built into the wiper park stops in the cowl... They do not go through the hood. Pick up a set from a junkyard and just run the hose.

Here's how it's set up on my '79 LeMans, which should be the same as a Malibu/El Camino. Metal tubes slide into slots on the cowl on the passenger side and the weatherstrip goes over that. The driver's side one is bolted on.
