i have a 82 el camino.im trying to figure out what wire is what.is there any where i can find a wiring diagram.its the wires right under the wiper motor.any help i would really appreciate.

i think those control the lights in front, or their to the windsheild washer pump, or both.

That's the bulkhead connector that plugs into the backside of the fuse box. It has the wires for the wiper arm motor, horns, gauges, lights, etc.

Best place for a wiring diagram is to pick up a Chassis Service Manual for your year/make/model vehicle. No one should be without one of these if your going to do any work to these cars!

I have a 1985 Oldsmobile electrical troubleshooting manual that includes cutlass supreme, however it is impossible to navigate, but I'll see what I can find out.

I just ran out and looked at my wires...my car had a 231 v6. My alternator wire is either brown n dirty or black. My starter wires are both red with a rubber piece that holds them together at the starter. My distributor wire has a red power wire and a creme colored tach signal
