Can't upgrade what disintegrates into dust. Salt is a much more powerful electrolyte than water. It rusts steel faster and it sticks to metal. Salt exposure can quickly render a car into a unsafe rust bucket .

I love the south!

I agree with driving it, the 87 442 I bought new, I drove everyday, and I'm in NE Ohio, a lot of salt on the roads, it did rust out, but I had 250,000 miles on it by then, and the only reason I got rid of it then was the timing chain jumped time, so I parted it out, as the body was pretty badly rusted. Now I bought another 87 442 last year, and I have not been driving it much as I want to. I need to replace the 1/4 panels and rocker panels, already have the 1/4's hanging in the garage waiting to be put on.

I do understand what you guys are saying about salt. Thats why i corrected myself saying maybe not snow lol. Thats what i have a beat up Corsica for with no paint left to be a salt pusher.

But the saying goes drive em till the wheels fall off. Then you put em back on and do it again
