y pipe for 403

i was wondering what would be the best way to hook up my exhaust to my 403 using stock manifolds. is there a y pipe i could use? any help would be nice

The factory used a Y pipe. Good luck finding one. I looked for a Pontiac V-8 and there was none available.

its not really a y pipe. it runs from the drivers side to the pass side then out of the pass side manifold. im probably better off just using the old stuff. i have the pipes its just that the studs are all screwed up or missing. did the t/a have the same setup?

Headers would be best -- 403's like to breath...

You could also have a custom y-pipe bent up if you want to go that route.

yea headers would be nice but they cost an are and a leg. i only paid 2000 for the car. i might go with the custom pipe. it couldnt cost that much :|

Are the manifolds off? Replace all the busted studs with new and it should work great.
