Pretty sure the Z71 can come in 2WD. Saw a new Z71 Chevy today and it must have had 10 inches of gap in the back, and about 5 in the front... so a 2/5 drop would still look like it has Skyjackers and a lift kit.
Who in the hell would order an off road package on a 2wd? It is very rare to see a 2wd truck here, I swear every model year there are less and less sold here.
In the 2008 brochure it list Z71 as an option on 2wd trucks. Explains why the 18" wheels has a passenger tire instead of a truck tire (& you could only get those wheels on a Z71.
