So in my el camino I have the 60/40 bench seat and I was wondering what seats I can use. What are my options? I'm just looking for a upgrade and want something different then the stock seat and would prefer a non gbody seat since they are hard to find at my local junkyards( found some for under 90 buck no tears or nothing came back the next day and they crushed the car before I could get them)

Yea that sucks when that happens I usually take them out and store them in a van that has allot parts left. As far as seats I guess you could use and seats aslong as the tracks fit the bolt pattern. Gotta measure your bolt pattern and go to the junk yard and compare. Or you could just get seats and modify you're current seat tracks.

The el camino that they were in was pretty much complete it had the bumpers all the trim a bunch of interior parts left they just crush them so quick at the junkyards here only last maybe a week then they are gone. Ya I think I'm gonna measure my tracks and try to find some. I really wanna try to put some BMW seats in it but I know that would take more modify then I want to do or can do.

Look at some acura seats too bro i've seen allot of those with nice buckets. Then all you would need is a set of bucket seat belts.

I live in Washington state haha that's to far for me and ya seats are cheaper to get them from a junkyard people want way to much on Craigslist. Has anybody used the universal
Seat mounts in their gbody? If I could get a couple of those and bolt up to some stock seats out of a different car if my tracks don't work that'd be perfect just have no experience with the universal seat brackets

Too bad you are ALL the way across the country from me. I've considered selling my Recarro's and putting Kirkey racing seats in mine.

Tried posting a pic but can't open photobucket for some reason....

Mid 90's Olds Achieva/Buick Skylark seats bolt directly to G body seat rails, can find many colors and trim levels, don't look overly modern, and are a pretty comfy seat to boot.
