i had the jegs ones on my old Monte . was kinda a pain in the *ss to install .but i think it was mainly cause i had to do it on my back on the concrete . had to remove the starter ,oil filter, oil sending unit ,and a ac bracket and alt bracket. had to also modify my oil sending unit too cause it was not fitting with the headers in . but if i had to do it all over again i would just put a manual oil pressure gauge instead .

I have the jegs. Have to remove starter to install. Can replace starter without removing headers. Mine fit great (no ac or power steering) only complaint is the one tube on the right side tuches the starter if running stock size starter and hits mini starter nose cone if running 168 tooth flexplate. Overall I love them and would recommend them.

I have had two sets of these flowtechs headers and love them, both ceramic and black...the black ones i took down to the metal and re-sprayed them with header anti-rust paint...from what i was told if u dont remove that coat that comes with them stock, they will rust on you.... Sucks huh!!! Lol..

They are not hard to install at all...driver side goes from underneath, and the passanger side goes in from the top, u dont have to remove n e thing, well a least i didnt ...good luck buddy..heres some pic of the ones i have know that are going on my 78 malibu.

I have either the jegs or summit ones, cant remember who I went with. They fit just fine, but they were a little bit of a b*tch getting them on. I dont remember what was in the way, and the cars not here, so I cant go look, but I had to put a small dent in one of them.

I have the ceramic flowtech and the jegs crossmember, both fit great , i had the black flowtech on my camaro and they didnt fit as nice as the ceramic ones plus i didnt know to strip them first before painting them and they pealed in a week and had to be pulled back off ,the only thing you have to watch out for is the ceramic one are susposto be broke in heat wise ,so you run them a while then shut the car off and over and over ,i cant remember exactly how it went but it was a.pain in the *ss other wise they can chip, crack, and rust .

heres a pic of mine, first is upon installing them and second finished, only thing i was scared of was the a/c box, but havent had any problems as of yet
