Sweet, what are the specs?

Its a 383, with a TH350 behind it. The motor has 64cc Dart heads, Eagle crank and rods, Speed pro flat tops. It should have around 11:1. Comp cam solid, 260/260 Duration at .50, and .555/.555. Roller rockers, Ported Victor Jr intake, a 750 holley, Mallory ignition.

Man that is almost a carbon copy of my motor. It sounds sweet with those open headers. Are you going to put an exhaust on it or use it only for the track? Are you going to change the stock rear or are you going to see how much your luck will hold out with the 7.5 rear? I had a friend running a similar motor to mine in a S-10 and he used a 7.5 rear for about 1 season at the track and he was running low 11 ET's but at the end of the season he opened her up and he discovered it wouldn't take to much more abuse so he went with a Ford 9". The funny part was the Ford 9" must use up a little more power because he was getting frustrated because he couldn't run as Fast as he did with the 7.5 rear. I told him that N.O.S. would fix that problem!LOL!! He wouldn't do it. Chicken!! Good luck with the car! I hope to see some more video's and pictures soon. Sounds awesome.

mine will spin the tires with no problem but they won't smoke 😢 luckily the winter is gettin' towards over and she's comin' back out. my neighbors are gonna hate me again!

Did you have to fly cut the pistons for that cam & how did you get a 11:1cr with flat tops & 64cc heads. I'm lookin to build similar engine for mine, but I have a 4spd & 12 bolt with 4.10's. The 4spd is in my favor, cause I don't have to worry about stall converter & engine power loss. Let me know. Thanks.......

I still run the stock 7.5 in my malibu. My friend runs one in his small block S10 and his malibu. They have all held up so far. We didnt have the money so we would go to pick and pull and find rearend out of g body, pull posi out of a blazer and 4.10 gears out of 4 clyinder automatic S-10 put it together and it cost $65. I cant complain. The 7.5 in the S10 holds 125 shot.

Thank you all for teh nice comments about the car. sorry i didnt get back sooner. As for the compression ratio, the block was decked and the pistons are flush with the top of the deck. Im not sure how much was taken off though. That is were the 11:1 comes in. I would have got a bigger cam with more lift, but this is the max i could go with these pistons, with out work to them.

Im going to run the 7.5 for as long as possible, im going to put some 3.73 gears with a mini spool and see how it goes.

Im not sure if i posted this already but here is another video i put together.
