Catalogue Cover

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share something I'm pretty excited about. A few months ago a rep (Brad) from Sherman & Associates (make body panels etc.) contacted me on motortopia about possibly using my car on the cover of their new parts catalogue. This is the company that donated some prototype quarters for Tom (tmos87) on the MonteSS board to install on his LS as a test fit. Of course I had no problem and sent him an original copy. I got word on Thursday that they decided to use it. Just sent the release form to them on Friday and he said he would send me a jpg preview when he gets a chance, and once they are printed up he's going to give me a few copies.

I popped on their site for the heck of it and a small preview is on there now:

I'm honoured/flattered that Brad picked my car out of the sky, and am still pretty shocked that they ended up going with it as their cover. Thanks again Brad :beer:

Thanks guys - like I say, I'm still pretty surprised that they went with it. One of those things when he first asked that I just thought I'd likely never hear anything again.

Thanks for the kind words too - the car isn't spectacular or anything, but it is my toy 🙂 A big part of it I think is that that round of pics I took a couple years ago really turned out well. Too bad it was with my old 2MP camera though - someday I'll have to try and reshoot with my newer camera. Because it was only 2MP, I thought it wouldn't be enough resolution for them, but I guess it was good enough 😀
