Will 1998 Chevy truck bucket seats fit?

Locally for sale, a pair of 1998 Chevy Silverado power bucket seats. Are these good candidates to replace the 60/40 seats in my 1985 El Camino?

I'd bet they'll be wider vs. the 'car' spec seats but would prob fit within the space. I have those buckets in my '99 OBS & could pull some dimensions if that might help you.

I would appreciate the measurements. I don't plan on having a console.

The only thing I would mention, is to try to make sure that the driver's seat is centered to the steering column. Might feel a bit funny to drive the car if the seat is offset to one side.

I had two different 98 GM products one Tahoe one truck. I found those to be the worst seats I ever rode in. IMO, felt like you were sitting on them not in them

Just be prepared to make some brackets if the dimensions work.

Well, that's not good.

I bought a 2000 GMC Sierra new, I liked those buckets, very comfy. I gave the truck to my brother and other than wear and tear, the seats still feel the same today.

I don't know if the seats in a 1998 would be the same, they look like they are.

Yep, good point, it would be easy to be off a few degrees, and not know it until it's driven.

Scoti, did you get a chance to break out the tape measure? Thanks.
