i wanted to run a thermal switch but in all honesty i just dont have any spare $ to buy one right now, but i have plenty of wire and switches and a few relays and inline fuses, so i am just wiring it up out of necessity for now... i was out of work for a little while so i am still playing catch...

yes i am putting a fuse in on the batt + line, and i plan on soldering and heat shrink sleeving all connections... fat fingers, little phone, made it too hard to draw in fuse...

keep in mind, your alternator only puts out about a third of its power at idle... wont put out its max amps till about 3k rpm... but, if i was you, i would upgrage, especially running all those subs...
