my '85 3.8 cuts out when I just tip in with the throttle from idle; theres no problem if I floor it, or go half throttle, but anything less, and the motor cuts out, and if I dont back off, and keep the throttle in the same place it will stall. Any thoughts why this happening? Thanks for the help.

I tried self recharging my a/c the other day, and quickly saw that my compressor is on its way out....it seems like its siezing with freon in it...ie the pulley almost comes to a complete stop and bogs down the whole engine. What are the pros/ cons of rebuliding the compressor (if possible)...
