This is what I came up with. It is close to where the factory had it but since I had to trim all the crap out where the strut bars were, it fit a little different.

I have good news and bad news. I went back to the yard where I got the shocks from and the car I got them from was gone. The good news was I found a monte carlo that still had the whole set up in it. So here are some photos.

Someone out there has to have this set up.

I just need some pictures of where it bolts from the factory, I'm sure someone out there in this forum have that set up factory.

Small update. Got to drive the car a few times, but the third time I was out my upper radiator hose got cut by the alternator belt. I had about an inch clearance, but apprently at high rpms it must have rubbed. I ordered a new one and am very happy to see that it is a different style.

Great news. I took the cutlass back to the transmission shop and after a few hours of cohersion, we managed to get the servo set back in far enough to lock the retainer ring back in place. I was able to snap a few pics of the exhaust since it was up on the lift as well. I finally got to drive the car...

I always said I couldn't get married until I could drive my car too it, almost made it, but I fell short. In the end it didn't matter, we had a beautiful day. I was a little disappointed the cutlass couldn't be there, but not for a lack of trying.

The color was supposed to be the original 1981 dark jadestone metallic green. It came out a little darker, but I love it.
