2001 MC SS console in a 85 elco?

has nayone installed an 2001ish MC SS Console in a 85 ish elco? its nice looking but theres no hump on the 2001 so Im not sure it will work on the 85

I,ve seen other late model consoles swapped in. It's all basic modifying . If it looks close, go for it.
