Has anyone had luck painting these? Specifically the foam portion? I painted the bottom part of mine and I’m considering doing the whole thing. I used the trim paint from Dixie Restoration on the bottom and most of my other pieces and it works great. IMG_9271.jpeg

I generally use the SEM ColorCoat stuff. It is flexible so great on soft surfaces. But I use it on hard plastic too. Everything here blue is painted.

I also used SEM on both my Monte's and Regal's center consoles, my Regal I went from factory blue and after doing some repairs painted it black and then burgundy when I installed it in my Regal.

I'm the odd ball on this as I used PPG's line to recolor a steering wheel, pair of door panels & some plastic trim in dark maple some years back. Any good paint shop should be able to mix a close match with your interior's color code in SEM or PPG. Even should be able to cross PPG/SEM codes too. Just make sure they understand it's for interior soft parts.
