Im just about finished with all the little things that have to be done to the wagon. Today Im making a vacuum line for the transmission and redoing a couple of wires that I decided to reroute.
Maybe in a few days I can finally get this thing started.
There is one issue thats still staring at me every time I look at the car. Tires and wheels. After the last thread I put on here it seems like my plan to put a nice set of 5 spokes and some low profile tires on the car wont work out because of the 2" drop. I dont really want to stick the rally wheels back on. I had two of the tires taken off (one front, one rear) and the wheels sandblasted. Epoxy primed them and painted them with rally wheel argent. They look good but I tossed the old tires thinking I was going for a full new set no matter what. So now I only have a single rear and a single front. At this point Im thinking the 205 60s will look pretty poor on an AR TT. So my options are two. Keep the rally wheels and buy the same size tires that were on the car when I bought it and live with the look. The other option is to pull the springs and dropped spindles out and throw a regular OEM setup back in. I can get the spindles easy enough from either yard I deal with. Theres a few Cutlasses and a Monte I can pick from.
What do you guys think I should do ? I honestly didnt think this would even be an issue seeing all the dropped cars rolling around on custom wheels.
