Anyone using a Summit brand resuable air filter?

I just got a Summit 14x3 reusable air filter. It looks just like a K&N. When I ordered it, I planned on using K&N filter oil on it, because I already have a big bottle of the stuff. But the instructions that came with the filter say only to use Summit brand filter oil.

Does anyone else have one of these? What kind of oil are you using on yours? I don't want to order the Summit oil if the K&N oil will work just as well. Thanks.

K&N also says to use only K&N cleaner and oil for their filters. i say BS, use the K&N oil. as long as it's cotton it shouldnt be a problem.
