grand national fuel injection take-off from a racing guy for peanuts, you could make it work. They aren't the most efficient blowers out there...but I went low 13s on one in a fwd monte, and dipped into the 12's on good gas and a 75 shot (wet). The best of that style eaton blower came on the 2004+ grand prix and was referred to as a "genv"
If you want to keep it carbureted....probably easiest way would be to get a centrifugal supercharger head-unit (
vortech, paxton etc), and make a bracket to mount it to your motor, and blow it through the carb....but it would be a little overkill for a stock 3.8 unless you have played with blow-through carbs before. all and all its in the tune. If you know what your doing and can piece together a setup...you could run low boost on the cheap (relativly speaking), and have a fun street car.
