Does anyone know where I can find a brass plug to replace the temperature sending unit? The vacuum port behind the carb is the same thread pitch. Am I correct in saying it is 11/16-fine thread? I can't seem 11/16 anywhere.

The ports on your intake are National Pipe Thread (NPT) The port under the carburetor is 1/4" NPT and the ports into the water jackets are 1/2" NPT
Don't bother measuring the hole with a tape measure. Pipe thread is a completely animal.
