Please make this a sticky. I just remembered a company called AuVeCo. They sell the exact hardware that the OEMs use. Their catalog is a bit of an adventure to find anything, but many of those hard-to-find trim clips are in here:

I deal with a place called Motor City Fasteners in Hazel Park ,MI and they can get everything in the Au-ve-co catalog plus I usually get all my grade 8 fasteners there.

I try and replace corroded fasteners with stainless steel whenever possible. These guys have a huge selection. I especially like the ARP stainless line- it's very strong grade of stainless, like grade 8 they claim. http://www.allensfasteners.com/default.asp
