Can you not get a 4 speed shift gate for the v matic? If you can then you can still use the shifter that you bought.

I think there are a few differences. I can get the right shifter when the time comes, just figured I'd highjack the thread and make mention I have a 3 speed V-matic if he's interested

you got pix of the V-matic in a stock console....Hurst says it won't go, I think they just aren't as liberal with a cutter as I am, I am curious as to how it looks together
