For early Christmas and January retirement my lovely wife bought me a garage floor. You'll note that her side of the two garage is done. The El Camino is sitting in the other half, and I will only get to finish when the El Camino can move under its own power. The finished side took about 8 hours. The unfinished side has a lot of obstacles so it might be a while before both halves are done. It is a labor of love!

looks nice, smart man setting her side up first btw :)
Yes it was her idea to get the tile after I gave her a pretty intensive sales pitch for about a week :) My 2 car garage was about $1500 with discounts and free shipping. 500 tiles including the bevel edge on the entry.

What's up with the pattern? Your design?
Yep we looked at dozens and they always seemed checkers or boxes so we worked it out in their floor designer application. It is a two car garage so you only see half of it. At the mid point the lines go up like a V. We had steps and a heater to go around and inches all the way around which will be cut down to make it wall to wall. I had a helper who didn't always note the pattern. So on another weekend in or Say APRIL I will right them :D

Looks good! Funny how it was "her" idea when you played the pushy salesman part of it.:LOL:

I just coated mine with that epoxy stuff and it's holding up well. But if I ever do it again...I'm likely going to do something like this. Except for the charlie brown sweater pattern look. :)

Oh Good Grief! :giggle: It was patterned after a Native American tribal blanket;) There is only so much you can do with 1 square foot
