Good Morning Guys; 79loserbluebu look for me when you cross into Wisconsin (Power Tour), plan to be at the end of Hy-11 around 11:00 am. The plan as of today is to take the Brown Brick, but that could change, six weeks and counting. I looked for some pictures & more info on your car, didn't find any on first try. How much does yours weigh? Mine tipped the scales right at 3500 with a full tank of fuel. I'm just curious as to why you are better than a 1/2 second quicker? Some guys have said mine has a sleeper look, but I disagree. Yours from my perspective has the sleeper look, and that's a complement. If you're inclined join me and others at the free pig roast & Sweet corn boil car show August 23rd in Orfordville, Wi 53576. I'll post more info soon, Bob Jr.

I have an LS engine in my car, weights 3450 with me in it. It makes 408hp at the rear wheels and has a 4000rpm stall converter. The only stock suspension piece I have on the car is the front lower control arms, everything else is aftermarket

That is super clean. Very subtle look. I like it!

Are those factory recovered seats? And the piece between the console and dash,is that for a radio?

Thanks,

Joe

I think it's a pull out/sliding ash tray instead of the drop down one.

Chevy2410's car is perfect for me except that it's got a mirror on the passenger side, I want a bench seat, 4 speed, non a/c and no wood grain on the dash.
Very nice car! :D

There are some nice looking Malibus here. Definitely my second favorite A/G-body. Has anyone done or seen a "Malibu SS" of this vintage? I'm a very "what if?" kind of guy, if no one has done one of these, I may have to someday.

Very nice car! :D

I bought the woodgrain stuff quite a few years ago and at the time I thought it was really cool. I hadn't seen many Malibus that had woodgrain. I was trying to be a bit different. :D Now that the car is on the road I've kinda changed my mind and I'm looking to go with black. I've had a pretty tough time finding a black radio delete plate.

i have decided, i want to do something ridiculous with my 83 bu... i was thinking about cutting the roof off behind the drivers/passenger seats, removing the rear doors glass and glass frame, the back seats, the roof and back window and trunk lid and making an odd hacked up pick up truck bu thing... i can weld a plate behind the drivers/passenger seat, with a cut out to re-use the rear window... i know it will be ridiculous looking, but i am in need of something to do and buying another project just isnt in my budget, but i have tons of spare crap i can use...
something like this
