Does anyone know what the torque spec is suppose to be on the steering wheel nut?

For a tilt column, its 35 in-lbs. It doesn't need much torque cause it's a taper fit on splines

35 inch pounds... thats only 3 foot pounds. That doesn't seem very tight at all. Does anyone have the specifications out of a repair manual. Thanks for everyone's help.
