ps hose 84 monte

does this look right? the hose is for a 84 monte with a 305.the old hose was too long and didn't line up right to the 350 I replaced the 6 cyl with.
the 6 cyl hose took a real clean route along the steering box and went under.for some reason this just looks goofy but I don't see any other way it will go.
that looks correct to me, like you said that is the only way it can be installed...
With the stock style hose, there usually aren't many options for routing. When i did mine, i used ptfe lined braided stainless. I understand this method isn't practical for everyone. TBH, these were a total PITA to build compared to regular stainless, but they looked cool.
Its just shorter. My original did a full circle loop. The replacement did a loop up by the rad. The different companies make them in different lengths
