I replaced the small shocks that hold up the trucklid on my 81 Monte. They worked great for a month or two, now the won't hold it up. Does anyone know if these things are adjustable? Someone suggested that you might be able to turn the shaft (like on a screen door) to adjust the tension. If not does anyone know who sells a brand that will last? Thanks!
