underhood heat blanket.

1.where can i find one for my 85 cutlass..it can be the normal blanket or that edhesive stuff..
2.if i take it off..what problems would i have?

I guess depending on where you live it could be protecting the hood from the heat or the engine from the heat of the sun..

That was my main concern..but idk if my engine go be too loud..which i doubt..but i gotta take the one i have off..its torn etc..keep dumping loads of dust on the engine..etc..
