now you're the one sitting there

one of my favorite races was with a 8.50 car and i'am running a 13 something.... when he caught me at the finnish at 150mph and his parachute opened ... i was surprised to see my win light came on  a look at the time slip told me i beat him with a hole shot!!!!!

i agree with shotgun theres nothing wrong with a slower car the tree makes every one equal :D the thing is you got to start some where, and if it makes you happy to race enjoy your self

shotgun here's my last time slip
reaction 60ft 330 1/8 et 1/8 mph 1000ft et 1/4 1/4mph
.5577 1.6469 4.8930 7.6592 88.85 10.0554 12.0913 110.70

I think there is a strong interest in drag racing here. Im pretty sure we would all love to run our rides side by side, but most of us are in the building process. Look how many views you got when you said you had a drag video with your ride. Were all American/Canadian Muscle Badasses  at heart!!! I hope sites like this can continue to build that tradition!

here's my best run,

Reaction 0.508
60ft N/A, tree was broken that day, but usually run 2.1sec
330ft 6.197

1/8th 8.965
1/8mph 80.686

1/4 13.898
1/4mph 98.974

I race at Luskville Dragway in Ottawa... It's poorly prepped, pot holes, and very bumpy. I get no traction 1st, spin into 2nd, and usually scwak in 3rd.

My usual trap speed is 100-101mph...
Do you guys think I can hit 13.5sec with my new slicks?

Get a radial drag slick. You can out 60 a bias slick and will top end(mph) better.

But don't tell anyone else.

How do I tell what mine are?
when installing, I noticed the inside texture to have angled lines, in arrow shapes. Also, I've noticed the tire has a very round shape (could be because I mounted them on a small rim), as opposed to flat at the tread...

Here are some pictures, unfortunately, they don't tuck in...

Next time, I'll be getting 28x9, not 27x10, I think I can use the height, and lose the width.

I also noticed today, the sidewalls have a texture of angled lines, so these might be bias belt plies...
