Going by a recent experience I would recommend some 3m panel bonding adhesive. This stuff works great you need to clean the area as well as possible and open the joint enought to get the material well into it. The working time on is product is about an hour and sets in 4. Full strength in 24 hours. The down side is you need an applicator for the product. It's in a twin cartridge arrangement, it will mix thru the tip but you can put a quanity on a surface if you remove the tip. After it cures you can sand drill, just about anything you need to do to it.Anyone know what epoxy filler is needed to fill holes or cracks in the plastic wheel wells for our cars?
